I have to admit, I didn’t even scratch the surface of the interestingly rich and complex character of Johnny Keenan in this interview. In a wide ranging conversation, we talked briefly about childhood homelessness, living independently since the age of 13, having the foresight to seek out mentors and warm buildings, cooking for the Dali Lama, and what it is like to comfort the dying.
